Bueller? I hope so!
Yesterday: @valerielbrown helping Olivia count out 100 Cheerios on a necklace to celebrate the 100th day of school. I like her intensity.
Sunrise this morning kept changing and presenting new color combinations. Thankful for this weird winter.

While this may not be a technical masterpiece, I like the mood of this off-focus beauty. Really communicates: Stuck in same place on highway for 20 minutes
100th day of school means necklace with 100 Cheerios and 100 chocolate chips for the class snack mix

Happy Birthday Jeremy: 2012
For those that are unaware, my friends and I like to have fun. We especially enjoy fun when it involves PhotoShop and pictures of each other.
Because: PhotoShop + pictures of friends x other pictures = fun
(yes, that is a real mathematical equation)
Anyhow, videos are fun too. The above equation could probably be adapted to After Effects but I don't know how to use it very well. (Just ask Adult Swim's Tim and Eric) Videos are especially gratifying when they are super-silly with abandon and celebrate those we love. With that context firmly in hand I present my weirdest creation of 2012 (so far, it's only January)
GO! JEREMY! BIRTHDAY!

A little statue I found at the thrift store. I'll be converting her into a special art project for you to see soon
@tinythunder came by the office yesterday and blessed the staff with fresh bread and homemade jams & jellies. Wonderful!
Challenge: What would you wish for now?
Here's an awesome collection of Sear Wishbooks and other catalogs that have been scanned page by page. The catalogs run 1942-1992 with particular emphasis on the 70's and 80's. Here's the challenge: pick a year from one of your favorite Christmases. If you could wish for any ONE item now, what would it be? Post your one item (and a link to the catalog photo page on flickr) in the comments of wherever you happen to be reading this. http://www.flickr.com/photos/wishbook/collections/72157600003636126/
