Olivia left me an array if leaves as a gift. Apparently she was saving them while picking up trash last Sunday

You can make music with anything…
Those that know me well know that one of my favorite instruments to play is the stainless steel double sink ay my parents house.
I believe that you can make music with anything. To me, this concept reinforces the idea that all of creation worships God and we're merely joining in with whatever we have at our disposal. Music From a Dry Cleaner by Diego Stocco
Perhaps a logical mash-up with this video would be with this song:
Knots by Lisa Hannigan

Another way God shows His love is by giving me a lovely wife that makes pumpkin fritters for dinner.

Lead with generosity. How do YOU Practice giving?
You've probably heard people say that "Anything you want to be good at you have to practice." Have you ever considered that this could include generosity? Do you live your life by mostly saying "no" when you're asked to do something, regardless if it is: big or small, requires money or time, is easy or challenging? I find my initial reaction to be a negative one all too often, even when I end up saying "yes" after consideration. I want to be like Jesus and immediately step up with a positive reaction when approached, especially when I'm being asked for something easy. Many times I have my mind already made up to say "no" before the person is even finished with their request. That's not how I want to live my life.
Sasha Dichter talks about helping people around the world, the habit of saying "no" and his personal generosity experiment.
From Sasha's blog:
"So I’ve been thinking that I need to try a generosity experiment: for a period of time, when I’m asked to give, to say yes. To everything. To emails and people on the street and friends raising money. Everyone. I think it will be good practice."
I have a close friend who tried something similar a year or so ago. He decided to say "yes" to anything he was asked to do within his means that didn't conflict with something he had previously committed to do. I've not spoken with him for an official recap but I do know that it had an impact on him. He said he found himself generally doing more things with people vs. watching television and wasting time and that he got to know people that he otherwise wouldn't have. There may be other results of this experiment which I'll invite him to share but I think this idea is something worth considering.
Spend 15 minutes out of your life watching this TED video and consider the idea of practicing generosity:

I welcome your thoughts and would love to hear what you have to say about this topic.
